About New York City Police Council of Retired Guardians
The New York City Police Council of Retired Guardians was organized in 2014 when the New York City Transit Guardians and the Council of Retired Police merged.
Our membership consists of retired law enforcement officers who have retired from local, state, or federal agencies where their offices were in the State of New York.
| Our mission is to honor and support retired police officers and their families by fostering a strong community, ensuring access to resources, and advocating for the well-being and dignity of those who have dedicated their lives to public service. In addition, we strive to develop a spirit of fellowship amongst our members and to encourage social and cultural enterprise and to promote friendship with other organizations with mutual interests. We are dedicated to fostering good relations in the community and to serve in various community programs and projects. | ![]() |
