New York City Police Council of Retired Guardians: Membership Information

Thank you for your interest in joining the NYC Police Council of Retired Guardians, Inc. We are a 501c3 organization whose membership consists of retirees from the NYPD Guardians Association (which includes the former Transit and Housing Police Guardians), The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), the MTA Guardians, The Grand Council Guardians, and many other fraternal organizations.
We fellowship and network with the active members of these organizations and other groups, agencies, and community-minded individuals in order to assist our members educationally, spiritually and culturally. Depending on your affiliation, you will qualify for placement in one of the following five categories:
- Regular Member
- Life Member
- Honorary Member
- Special Honorary Member
- Associate Member
| Dues for regular and associate members are Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00), payable by March 31 st of each calendar year. Dues shall be applied to the year in which they are paid. People over the age of 62 have the option of paying One-Hundred-Twenty-Five Dollars ($125) for a Lifetime Membership. Also included in this category are those active and retired members of the NYPD Guardians and former Transit Guardians, who paid Lifetime membership dues in the amount of Four-Hundred Dollars ($400) to join the NYPD Guardians. Payment of dues will be expected upon completion and submission of an application. Additional rules apply for Honorary and Special Honorary members. | ![]() |
